Looking for a quality tea? Need a good tea to relax with? There are many opportunities with Earl Grey Green. Earl Grey Green is made with green tea and as such you need a different set of tools than used with. The Orange Peko Scale that is used with black teas will not help you with Earl Grey Green. Instead, the presence of a single estate and a first flush are two of the most important tools. Earl grey Green tea creates an amazing drink but a truly amazing drinking requires truly amazing tea.

First flush, second flush, third flush, what does all of this mean? A flush is quite simple; it refers to the crop. Tea leafs are picked multiple times in one year. The first picking of the leaves is referred to as the first flush because it is the first time that leafs have been picked in the year. The first flush is renowned as the producer of a better green tea. The first flush is grown during a more peaceful time as the sun does not beat down as harshly as it does in the intense summer months. These young tippy leafs produce a great cup of earl grey green tea as they are filled with a great deal of oils (and flavor). One of the first things you can do to find a better cup of earl grey green tea is to find first flush leaves.

A single estate tea has the potential to produce a much better tea than a blend because of the concentration of the tea. How is this so? How can tea grown from one tea garden make a better cup of tea than tea from multiple estates? In any given year a given number of tea estates will produce relatively better tea because of the growing conditions, soil, and rainfall. When tea blenders go to make a certain tea it is common to take a little bit of higher quality tea from a good estate and mix it with inferior tea from a collection of other estates. This results in a cheaper product but it also degrades the taste and amount of nutrients in the tea. If you are looking for a quality earl grey green tea then single estate leaves are a powerful sign that the leaves are of high quality.

Earl grey green tea is a great drink. This blend of tea is a great spin on the normal black tea blend, but care must be taken. When earl grey is made with poor leaves the quality of the drink plummets. It is very hard to relax and enjoy a poor quality tea as there is less flavor and nutrients. An obscene amount of bergamot cannot make up for poor tea leafs. When you are online looking for earl grey green tea make sure that your leaves match your expectations.
